- Dancing Fountain
The Fountain and the monument to the adjacent sardana are a gift from Catalonia to the city of San Sebastian.
This large fountain with a sixteen-metre exterior diameter comes with three concentric basins at various heights, through which the water flows, located in the centre of the square’s roundabout.
The upper basins are found within the variable height central geyser with two crowns of parabolic jets, a crown located around the geyser which shoots the water outwards and another crown with a larger diameter that shoots the water towards the centre of the fountain. The second basin had eight sets of foam effect nozzles installed.
The fountain came with water and light displays that alternated using the automated system, which allowed the use of various colours with hydraulic effects that also included changes in height.
